There's an interesting open-jaw flight deal involving flights from Edmonton to Malaysia, and a return flight home from Thailand to Edmonton, all for just $716 CAD including taxes.
The flights involve using a combination of Delta and ANA on the way there, and Delta with Cathay Pacific on the way back.
The flight between Malaysia and Thailand is not included, but it's typically pretty easy to find flights between the 2 countries for $90 to $140 CAD. JetStar is often one of the cheapest airlines.
