Thailand and Vietnam are under $1000 roundtrip after tax at the moment

Those $747 flights to Taiwan, which are incredibly, still hanging around, kind of overshadowed some other amazing prices to SE Asia that are currently available.
Most of the discounted ones are on United, and up to late October/early November. Here are some examples:

They're a good 25-35% cheaper than the next cheapest fares. Any time you can get to SE Asia for around $1200 you're doing very well. Under $1000 is very rare.
