Flair Air has added some new routes to their schedule, with introductory prices from Edmonton to Kelowna, Victoria, or Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario for between $86 and $206 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights are non-stop both ways.
Edmonton to Ottawa is also available for a similar price.
$86 roundtrip is the base price, and includes *only* a personal item. Low cost carriers charge extra for *everything*.
$206 roundtrip is the price with carry-on or a checked bag included, for a more fair comparison against other airlines.
Vice-versa flights (Kitchener-Waterloo or Ottawa to Edmonton) are also available for a similar roundtrip price.
UPDATE: In response to Flair, Westjet has now dropped the price of their flights from Edmonton to Kelowna down to $138 CAD roundtrip. Edmonton to Victoria is $124 roundtrip. Edmonton to Ottawa is $190 roundtrip. Try starting with this Google Flights link...
