Update - You can also find flights from Edmonton to Halifax, Nova Scotia for between $212 and $282 CAD roundtrip, but with some caveats
- If you search for a flight from Edmonton (YEG) to Halifax (YHZ) on Kayak, you can find flights for between $212 and $262 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
But here's the thing. This is not an official Swoop route. These are flights actually being generated by Kiwi.com, a search engine that generates 'unofficial' flights in a unique way. In this case, they are combining cheap Swoop flights from Edmonton to London (YXU) or Hamilton (YHM) with cheap Swoop flights from those cities to Halifax.
By 'unofficial' I mean that you are really purchasing two separate roundtrip tickets in this situation, even though Kiwi.com makes it appear the flights are all on the same ticket. And therefore, Swoop has no responsibility to get you to Halifax, should you miss a connection.
However, Kiwi.com does claim to 'guarantee' you are covered if something happens and you miss your connection.
Swoop also charges bag fees per flight, and in this, they would view it as two separate flights, and I think paying bag fees for 2 roundtrip flights would greatly nullify the potential savings. So I would only attempt this if you can fly with just a personal item.
And if this all still appeals to you...
1. Go to Kayak
2. Search for a flight from Edmonton (YEG) to Halifax (YHZ)
