WestJet has dropped the price of a few of their December flights from Edmonton to Cancun, Mexico down to $374 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights are nonstop both ways.
UPDATE - March dates are still available.

1. Start with the following Google Flights search:
Google Flights: Edmonton to Cancun
- Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and browse for cheap date combinations.
- Adjust the trip length at the bottom.
- Look for the dates that are $389 roundtrip
2. Go to Kayak or Skyscanner
3. Search for a flight from Edmonton (YEG) to Cancun, Mexico (CUN)
- Search for the same dates you found on Google Flights.
For those willing to take the gamble, Flair is showing flights in late January, late February, and the first half of March for around the same price after you factor in the carry-on bag fee.
