United Airlines has dropped the price of their flights from Edmonton to Sydney and Melbourne, Australia down to between $850 and $920 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop each way, in Los Angeles or San Francisco.
In the last few years, there have been better deals than this to Australia, particularly with Qantas. But this is the best deal there has been from Edmonton to Australia since early 2019.
Update 10/8 - These are back.

Do you know if the sale extends to business class? It doesn't appear so when I search, but I'm not sure if the booking sites would have that.
