WestJet is currently showing some great prices to destinations in Hawaii that don't normally go on sale.
However, it's currently only showing for one very limited date combination in December.

How to find and book these flights
1. Go to Expedia
2. Search for a flight using the dates of December 6 to December 13, 2016
As for the destination to enter, it appears to work from Edmonton to all major Hawaiian airports, except for Hilo (ITO).
To Honolulu (HNL) and Maui (OGG), it's not a 'stop the presses' type of price, although a bit better than usual (about 20% cheaper).
It becomes a better deal when used for ...
Kona (KOA) - the Big Island (35% cheaper than usual)
or
Kauai (LIH) - (35% cheaper than usual)
...which are typically a minimum of $700 for roundtrip flights, especially the convenient flights that don't route through the U.S.
It's also nice that these are WestJetflights, with 1 stop in Vancouver each way.
NOTE: Expedia may show '1 ticket left' but I was able to verify this price even when searching for 4 passengers.
