"I'm a travel junkie who's hooked on deals from YEG." - Chris Myden

Edmonton to Kelowna and Vancouver, BC (and vice-versa) - $118 to $158 CAD roundtrip including taxes | peak summer 2018 travel

Vancouver, BC

Flair Air (formerly New Leaf) is showing non-stop flights from Edmonton to Kelowna and Vancouver, BC for travel in the summer of 2018 for $118 to $158 CAD roundtrip including taxes.

There are peak summer travel dates available, including flights in July, August, and September.

Vice-versa trips (eg: Kelowna/Vancouver to Edmonton) are also available for $118 to $158 CAD roundtrip.

For comparison, Air Canada and WestJet are currently charging $388 to $417 for the same summer flights. Yes, for a 90 minute flight!

It will be interesting to see if WestJet aggressively matches Flair Air on their summer fare prices, like they have been doing for other seasons of the year.

Hopefully this will be the first year Canadians finally catch a break on summer airfares within Canada. At least, between certain cities.

NOTE: Flair Air charges extra for both carry-on and checked luggage. Their lowest prices only include a personal item.

There are also summer flights from Edmonton to...

Winnipeg, MB (YWG) - $98 CAD roundtrip

Abbotsford, BC (YXX) - $108 CAD roundtrip

Kelowna, BC (YLW) - $118 CAD roundtrip

Vancouver, BC (YVR) - $158 CAD roundtrip

Hamilton, Ontario (YHM) - $328 CAD roundtrip

Toronto, Ontario (YYZ) - $366 CAD roundtrip

Vice-versa trips are also available for a similar price, for anyone that wants to come visit you in Edmonton.

Availability for travel

January, February, March, April, May 2018

and more notably: June, July, August, September 2018

Dates in and around holiday weekends are available.

Hmmm, interesting, I'll take a look and see how far into the booking process I can get.

I know Flair Air just launched their new website. Maybe it's having some issues.

I'm seeing quite a few people report the same issues with their website.

On the Flair Air facebook page, I've read that their call center is waiving the usual $16 over-the-phone booking fee because of the website issues.

How is the Flair Air service? Been reading some shady stuff about their service and delays. Is it worth it for the cheap tickets?
