WestJet just dropped the price of some of their September flights from Edmonton to Toronto down to extremely low price levels.
The flights do have 1 stop in Winnipeg each way.
The number of dates is somewhat limited, so I think it will sell out quite quickly.

How to find and book these flights
1. Start with this Google Flights search...
Google Flights: Edmonton to Toronto
Click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and look for the date combinations that are $275 roundtrip.
2. Select your flights and click through from Google Flights to the WestJet website.

UPDATE 8/26 - There are now some flights available from Edmonton to Toronto for October 2016 travel for $274 CAD roundtrip including taxes. There are also non-stop flights to Winnipeg for $198 CAD roundtrip.

The only return dates are October 9 or 17.
Yes, this one is pretty limited!
If you click around on other dates in October, you'll see that there are a variety of other date combinations for $327 CAD roundtrip, which is still a great price.
2. Select your flights and click through from Google Flights to the WestJet website.
You'll see an option to book the flights separately for slightly less, but I think you'd be better off booking them together for the few extra dollars.

Are the dates restricted to those in the snap shot (the 4th to the 11th)?
All of the Sunday to Sunday date combinations in September were showing this price. Unfortunately they all look to have sold out now.
